RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Mechanical supervisor is responsible for the maintenance operations and schedules with regards to the maintenance and upkeep of the Utilities, (Gas turbine generators, process & hydraulic pumps, Air compressors, heavy diesel engines, valves..Etc);
• He is responsible for any safe work in the Utilities and Offsite Areas;
• He will maintain and update all maintenance procedures ,logs and records;
• He will coordinate spare parts, consumables and tools issues according to priorities & schedules;
• He will supervise daily maintenance activities as scheduled and integrate emergency activities if required;
• He will assist the superintendent in the planning ,operations and inspections;
• He will check the required resources, men and material, necessary to keep the utilities reliable during the commissioning of the Process Areas;
• He advise subordinates on maintenance problems and find solutions to it;
• He must be able to operate / maintain most of the following Pieces of Equipment:
• Nitrogen Separation Units and Cryogenic equipments
• Gas turbine generator (GE , frame 5)
• MR & PR compressor (GE,frame 7)
• Heavy duty pumps
• Diesel Storage Systems
• Emergency Diesel Generators
• Air Compressor and Dryer System
• Low Pressure Boilers (Heating Medium)
• Sea Water Cooling and Eletrochlorination Systems
• Flares and Liquid Blow downs
• Desalination Plants (Steam Utilization)
• He will report to the Mechanical Superintendent

REQUIREMENTS:

• University Degree;
• Minimum 5 years plus in Oil & Gas facility projects;
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, handling a team of technicians;
• Problem identification & initiating changes to full implementation;
• Driving HSE performance in the project execution;
• To have technical vocabulary and very good level in English.
