Instrument / Control Systems Design Field Engineer (Belokamenka)

Primary duties & responsibilities

• Working within the Integration Field Engineering team for brand new industrial gas plant construction facility.

The candidate shall -

• Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally by vendors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with project specifications and regulatory requirements, this includes review of discipline design drawings and documents (such as P&IDs, cable schedules, IO lists, instrument loop drawings, cause & effects, etc
• Collaborate and work with the Electrical and Telecom discipline engineers to execute process controls and safety shutdown & fire & gas aspects of telecom & electrical equipment and subsystems such as communications and substation facilities including power management sub-systems.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Piping discipline engineers to execute automation aspects of process equipment such as pumps and other rotating equipment packages.
• Assure accurate and timely communication among the Project Team and other Company functions on discipline engineering activities and progress. Keep Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager informed of discipline engineering deviations and execution concerns.
• Facilitate effective execution of discipline engineering and design modifications as Site Instructions and Red Line Markups that align with the project's goals, objectives and procedures for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Resolve Technical issues and Queries from construction and commissioning in a timely manner in order to effect required progress of work scope to meet the integration and transport schedule of the LNG facility
• Identify and assess Non Conformity and Deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements; ensure that such deviations will be processed and agreed in conjunction with the client according to project procedures.
• Perform site surveys as necessary and participate in discipline engineering meetings and reviews with client and subcontractor as required. Ensure correct equipment procurement and material request is produced in order assist site works.
• Drives and promotes capital efficiency in field engineering support to site engineering
