Currently we are looking for a Field Service Engineer (4 stroke) for our business unit in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

Your mission will consist of:

- Overhaul engine components in workshop and at site/on board (diesel and gas).

- Carry out engine product trouble shooting, routine maintenance & components investigation.

- Check and adjust relevant systems (i.e. auxiliary, propulsion).

- Perform commissioning of Wärtsilä equipment.

- Take a part in trouble shooting process.

- Carry out engine product trouble shooting, routine maintenance & components investigation.

- Prepare service work reports and travel expense reports on time and with expected Wärtsilä quality.

- Identify failures, making adjustments, assist on trial runs and testing.

- Collect and organize time and expense reports. Reporting and informing administrative personnel as required.

- Working by following the Company guidelines including QEHS requirements.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

- High School Diploma/Technical (preferably Marine, Mechanical)

- Around 3 years of experience as a Mechanical or Service Engineer (preferably on ships but not mandatory)

- Motivation to travel around Russia for at least 7-8 month per year and also abroad if required

- Russian, native speaker

- English (B1) intermediate level ideally

- Communication skills & customer relations

- Motivated to learn and grow professionally

- Ability to follow directions

- Ability to deal with people of different nationalities

- Ability to work under pressure.

You will shine in this role if you have additionally:

- Strong knowledge of diesel engines / gas engines and their auxiliaries (Mechanical engineer on Diesel Engine or Mechanical technical experience on 4 stroke engines power Plants, Field Service engineer (mechanical) in international engines service company).

- Mechanical officer on Ships with Wartsila engines.

- Intensive engine specific and practical training and experience on Wartsila products.
